The Seeds - A Web Of Sound (1966)

This is not your standard California garage rock from the 60's. The Seeds outdo their first album by far, and create a fascinating mix of garage and psychedelic rock, and the album seems like a journey through a slightly insane mind. The single Mr. Farmer starts the album off right, an ode to marijuana farmers which was actually banned from many radio stations for its indirect drug references. While Mr. Farmer is my favorite song off the album, the final song is perhaps most interesting. After mostly 3 minute tracks, the 15 minute song Up In Her Room closes out the album. It's incredibly repetitive, but somehow enjoyable the whole time. The song captures the essence of the half-awake daydreams of an incredible high.
